For antlered animals like deer, the average turn around is 2 - 3 weeks from time of drop off but can sometimes be longer due to season workload. All other mammals can take 4 weeks to a few months depending on the grease found in the bone.  Typically, predators and hogs will take the longest with average time of 2-6 months.

We accept all mammal species. We do not take in any VELVET antlers, fish, reptiles, or birds. If you are unsure about a specific species, just reach out to ask.

Pricing includes skinning, cleaning, degreasing (if needed), and whitening of the skull.

Plaques, specialty mounts, and upgraded hangers are available at an additional cost. Whitetail deer pricing includes a standard metal hanger.

If you cannot bring the head immediately, it should be kept cool or frozen as soon as possible. Avoid leaving it in heat or in the back of a truck for extended periods. If the skull has not been properly stored, an additional fee of $40 will be added to your total cost if there is signs of rotting/spoiled flesh.

Each skull is carefully cleaned using controlled maceration (heated water) — never boiled. All tissue is then washed off, the skull degreased, and dried so it can be whitened with peroxide. Sometimes, there is grease that will surface, which will then require more time for degreasing.
